Happy Valentine's Day

I love Valentine's day! It is one of my favorite days of the year <3

fun & games

Brittany and I spent the afternoon making this project for Kayla's Valentine surprise.

Lily at 1 1/2

After her bath she asks for a blanket. She likes me to wrap her up and hold her close until she gets warmed up.

She likes it when we sing to her. Her favorite songs are 'This Little Light of Mine' and 'Are You Sleeping.'

She thinks she has to sit on my lap every time I sit down!

She calls her hair bows, "no-no's!"

I always put lotion on her after I give her a bath and she squeals brr! Now every time she sees a bottle of lotion she says, "want brr!"

She can say a few short sentences.

When she wants something she says, "want (whatever it is)" over and over and over!

She loves pulling the dishes out of the kitchen cabinets.

She starts crying if anyone goes upstairs or downstairs without her. She does not like to be left behind!

She has started initiating xox's.

She knows climbing the stairs is a no no, so she will stand at the bottom of the stairs and holler at Matt to come get her. She starts out quiet and gets louder and louder until he comes. It is one of the funniest things I've ever heard!

Lily and I made blueberry muffins while the kids were at school. She was happy to hold them while I took her picture. She kept leaning over and sticking her face in them trying to get a bite!
