I just love this time of year...
seeing the leaves change colors, carving pumpkins, making candied apples, and watching the excited children dressed in their cute costumes on Halloween night.
This year I made Lily's costume. I fell in love with a Little Red Riding Hood outfit I saw on someone's blog a few years ago and knew if I ever had another girl I was going to make her one for Halloween. I wish I could remember where I saw it so I could post a link.

The last few months I have been designing and sewing all kinds of fun things! I will share more of the projects I have been working on later, but for now here is a little doll I made to sell. Lily was quite happy to model it for me:)

a special day
My daughter celebrated her 11th birthday last Saturday. Instead of a party she wanted to spend the day with me and her daddy doing whatever her little heart desired! We had the loveliest day together...shopping, skating, watching a movie, and eating yummy Japanese food:)
