Amazing work! I found your blog while researching Little Red Riding Hood costumes for my little one. This is beyond adorable. I was wondering if you have plans to sell the dress and cape in your shop, or whether you'd be willing to sell/share the pattern for making these items. I also love, love, love the felt rose hair clip from a Jan 2011 post ("a new dress for Lily") and again, was wondering if you have plans to sell the item or could share how you made it.
Thank you for the lovely comments!
Ruthie,
I'm not planning on selling the costume in my shop. The pattern I used for the jumper is Butterick 3772 and I just used a white t-shirt with it. The pattern for the cape is Simplicity 8234. The cape pattern was too big, so I had to adjust it quite a bit.
I make the flowers out of different types of thin hand dyed fabric. I like them to look full and fluffy so I add lots and lots of layers. I will probably make some of those to sell in my etsy shop! Thanks for asking:) xox
