sister weekend:)

I got to spend last weekend with my sisters Alisia and Mandy. We had a lovely time making last minute Christmas gifts, eating yummy food, taking pictures, and watching movies:)

I am excited to announce my etsy shop Love, Charla Anne is finally open for business! Last summer I decided to open a shop so the last few months I have been sewing fun things for little girls.

My dear Grandma taught me how to sew. When I was a young girl I went to her house after school for sewing lessons. I still have the sewing bag and doll clothes she helped me make.

When I had my first child sixteen years ago, I fell in love with sewing. I spent months designing a nursery and sewing all the bedding, etc.

Now my favorite things to sew are toys and clothing for little children. I love using vintage fabric on my projects and always look for it when I shop at antique stores, thrift shops, and flea markets.

is my Mom's birthday. She is the most beautiful person. Always thinking of others and doing something to brighten someone's day. I am so blessed to have her in my life. I don't know what I would do without all her love and prayers.
