I got to spend last weekend with my sisters working on projects. It was just what I needed! I have been in such a sewing mood and have had a hard time getting anything done since someone around here is going through the terrible twos! haha;) I finished this dress and started making several new things for my shop. I will show you what I've been working on soon!
so fun!
really enjoyed it!
love the dress. :)

Sounds like a fun weekend, you created a darling dress for a beautiful little girl. My sister made her daughter vintage dresses when she was little, she is now 20 and still has them hanging in her closet, she treasure's them dearly as I am sure Lily will too.

How lovely. Could you share what pattern you used for the base of the dress? I am smitten by your photography! Your blog is such eye candy.

Aww...thanks so much for leaving such lovely comments!
Heather, I used Simplicity 5695 for the dress pattern. I really hate following a pattern, but if I'm going to use one I prefer Simplicity. They are so easy to understand.

Is that apron made out of a vintage hankie? Too cute! I have an extensive collection of them. Definitely tucking that sweet idea away for my someday box ;-)
