I am so lucky I have two sisters, Alisia & Mandy that share my love of photography! We have spent many hours talking about lighting, locations, props, and photo shoots we want to do:) We decided it would be fun to start out this new year doing a monthly photo collaboration together. For January we chose the word calm. We didn't talk to each other about our ideas so I could hardly wait to see what they came up with!

how beautiful! i love all of them. i have a hard time with lighting and i haven't learned how to do the manual settings. i used to play around with photography more, but now i just stay busy running my shop. did you teach yourself? take a class? you do amazing!

all 3 pictures are so pretty. Funny that all 3 of you got shots that seem to be white and grey.

Tasha, I have always loved photography. My parents bought me a little film camera my senior year and I had a blast taking pictures of all my friends! I didn't really learn how to do all the manual stuff until 2004, when my husband surprised me with my first digital camera. I went to the library and checked out every book I could find about photography. I was thrilled when my sisters and a few close friends decided they wanted to learn photography along with me!
Gina, We decided to start each month with a color scheme. This month are colors were aqua, gray, and white. Thanks again!
