My sweet mother is babysitting Lily today, so I have spent a quiet afternoon going through the pictures I took in Florida a few weeks ago. It was Lily's first time to go to the beach and she absolutely loved it!
We had such a lovely trip - sleeping in, relaxing at the beach, a little shopping, and a lot of reading. Here are a few of the photos I took. I will post the rest another day. xox
beautiful pictures of the beach. looks like the gulf coast?

your photography is amazing!! i really want to get better with my pictures, so i'm starting to read my manual for the first time. i'm not very quick with technology so it's gonna take me awhile, but i am very inspired by lovely pictures like yours.
i'd love to see a post on some of your 'photography how to's'! ;)

i love florida beaches. we went to seaside a couple of years back. last year we tried north carolina. it was great, but we are going back to florida this year again. nothing compares to the calm waters of the gulf! this year we will try rosemary beach.

I was just checking in to see if you had a lovely new post when I saw these beach pics and had an 'aha!' moment. I must have been totally channeling you when I took my pics at the beach on Friday, but I wasn't conscious of it. I see it mostly in the sand castle pic, but of course your pics are superior. Your work, and apparently everything you touch, is beautiful! so this is a sorry and a thank you and an acknowledgement all at once. Cheers from California! Amy

oh gosh, now it's getting eery. I just noticed my Olivia's bathing suit seems to be a different shade of the one your little girl is wearing. I swear I bought her swimsuit last year and it's just a coincidence. eek!

It's good to walk barefoot and hang on the seashore. It feels soothing and puts you at ease. Guess that little girl had fun, right? On the other hand, I think the sunset added great effects on those photos.
@Mandy Lynne -- I agree with you! I love her bubbly swimsuit. She looks so adorable! I wish my li'l sister could go back to her childhood days and wear such clothes again. I really love swimming with her!
