It is raining and Lily is singing a happy little tune. The two of us are having a lazy day at home trying to get over the flu. We are waiting for the big kids to get home from school and looking through recipes trying to figure out what to make for supper.
I am so glad it is Friday! I'm looking forward to a quiet weekend at home. I hope your weekend is lovely:)
My sweet mother is babysitting Lily today, so I have spent a quiet afternoon going through the pictures I took in Florida a few weeks ago. It was Lily's first time to go to the beach and she absolutely loved it!
We had such a lovely trip - sleeping in, relaxing at the beach, a little shopping, and a lot of reading. Here are a few of the photos I took. I will post the rest another day. xox
Lily is talking non stop these days! She has said a few things lately that put a smile on my face, maybe they will make you smile too:)
"I'm not a princess...I'm the queen!
I want a piece of milk.
I swallowed my crying. Could you wipe my tears?
Can I go to Korea and get some library books?"
She calls strawberries, “straw bears.” It sounds so cute - I don’t want to correct her.
