Lily is talking non stop these days! She has said a few things lately that put a smile on my face, maybe they will make you smile too:)
"I'm not a princess...I'm the queen!
I want a piece of milk.
I swallowed my crying. Could you wipe my tears?
Can I go to Korea and get some library books?"
She calls strawberries, “straw bears.” It sounds so cute - I don’t want to correct her.
Sooo cute.
..definitely put a smile on my face,
and made me laugh.
I love the "crying" comment.
So sweet.
She is precious.

I'm reading your words and perusing your images with a tight feeling in my throat...watching my beautiful 14-year-old Chinese daughter play her guitar. It seems just yesterday we received her into our arms, but somehow almost 14 years have passed in a blink. Lily is an absolute treasure! And I know you are the family her little heart had unknowingly longed for. Adoption - what a gift! Blessings to you as you continue your family's journey.
From a mom just a few steps ahead on that journey... I trust that yours, too, will be wonderful!
