beautiful photos. that first one almost made me tear up. I am adopted from Seoul, Korea, too, and we celebrated my "homecoming" each year. Just another way to make a little one feel special ;) xo amy

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment! I love reading them:)

Amy,
That's awesome! I would love to hear your adoption story! We celebrated Lily's homecoming this year for the first time. We called it 'Lily Day.' We made a Korean meal and got Korean candy at the market. We enjoyed it so much, we will definitely do it again next year!

I saw one of your images on Pinterest and followed it here. As a photographer let me say your images of your family and home are inspiring. As a mother I have always dreamed of adopting a girl from Korea ( funny how we get such specific /random desires) and in my dreams I always call her Lily! I have gone through your blog with tears running down my face. My youngest is 12 , I thought I had let that dream go.. now I am not so sure.

this so reminds me of my husband and I bringing home our daughter Ruby. Adoption a gift, a blessing and a promise for the making of a family. thank you for your beautiful inspirational photos telling your story!!
