I can hardly believe he is 16 1/2. It seems like he should still be my little boy dreaming about legos and making creations out of duct tape. But instead he has a summer job and is saving money for his first car. I am so proud of the amazing person he has become.
Your oldest is really really handsome. I love the way your display your photos.

I love the slightly faded look the photos have in this post. Is there a filter you are using in photoshop to create this? I would love to know :)

What a handsome son you have... My oldest son just turned 20, freaks me out. I love your sons room, I may have to steal the clipboard idea, that is way cool.

Thank you for the lovely comments!
Lisa,
I processed these pictures months ago and can't remember exactly what I did. I usually just pop the color a little and adjust curves. Every once in awhile I use Red Leafs vintage actions (Vintage Moe Yello) and I bet that is what made these have that faded look.

Hi! I just "found" your blog from Savvy. I have to say this post makes me tear up. Right now, I have a 3 yr old and 2 yr old boy. They are into legos, and playing dog, and tape and tools and all things boy. Its just hard to believe they are eventually going to be this age. Instead of complaining about having to pick up legos today, I'm thanking the Lord for the little boys that love them.
thanks for your post. :)

I just found your blog through the Savvy Photographer and you do beautiful work! I am just about to kick off a series on my blog in the month of September called Decorating with Portraits...I would LOVE for you to participate and share how you have done so. I see the clipboards in your sons room and the portraits in the kitchen...I would love anything else you have to be featured as well! Please email me (I don't see an email for you) and I will give you more info;) kristenduke@gmail.com
