I am loving these fun summer days! We have been busy reading, camping, sewing, doing craft projects, baking bread, making strawberry jam, and spring cleaning.
Lily has been much happier lately. I think she is enjoying the never ending attention she gets with the kids being out of school!
My husband and I recently celebrated another anniversary. Mandy kept our kids overnight so we could get away. My favorites included reading together, uninterrupted talking, eating chocolate macadamias, and a trip to a flea market where I found vintage dresses, dishes, fabric, and pretty buttons:)
I have now been married over half my life. I got married before I turned 18! I still think my husband is the most amazing person I have ever known. I love that after all these years together we are still the best of friends.
Lily is still cracking us up daily with the things she says. The most recent was when she saw a dead bug and said, "look Momma, it doesn't have any batteries in it!"
I took these pictures a few months ago when we celebrated Lily's two year homecoming. We called it "Lily Day" and Lily enjoyed every minute of it! We went to a local Korean market to buy some treats and my husband and I made bulgogi, a yummy Korean dish. I found the recipe here. It is definitely something we plan on doing again next year. I love family traditions!
I have been receiving a lot of emails from people about my dolls and aprons. I do plan on making more, but I'm not sure when they will be done. If you are interested in knowing when I add something to my shop I think you can subscribe on my etsy home page and I will always post about new items on my blog.
Thank you so much for all the comments, emails, and visits to my blog. You are the sweetest! I hope you are having a lovely summer!

What a fun post :) It sounds like you have had a lovely summer! I wanted to tell you abut a neat book we have read called "Bee Bim Bop" it is a cute picture book about a family making this Korean dish, and includes a recipe in the back - it might be a fun addition to your Family Day celebrations ;)
Take care -
Sara
