my baby turns THREE!!!
When we were in Korea we spent a lot of time shopping at the outdoor markets. We bought eighteen gifts for Lily so we could give her a gift from Korea for each one of her birthdays until she turns eighteen. I had so much fun picking out her gifts! I started looking for a beautiful hanbok to buy for her the day we got to Korea and was excited when I found this one. We gave it to her on her first birthday. This year she is getting a little Korean purse:)
Gorgeous shot! Happy birthday sweet girl

You all are the best! Thank you for the comments!
Nathalie,
I didn't make it...we bought it while in Korea. It does look similar to modkid's patterns.
I've thought about making some clothes for Lily using oliver + s patterns. I think their patterns are the cutest ever! I wish I enjoyed sewing clothes more.

Lily's hanbok is lovely. I recognized the Asian Corelle doll. My oldest literally loved that doll to pieces...it's all ripped up and duct taped! I finally bought them Waldorf dolls. I wish I had your sewing talent to make them and their dolls such cute dresses! I have a lot of Korean books that I added to my children's book list. Perhaps you would be interested?

Charlaanne,
I have the list of books on my blog, but I realize that I mixed up the Korean ones with all our favorites. Let me see if I can spruce it up and make a Korean category so it's easier to navigate. But it might take a while. I also talk a lot about Korean culture so if you check under the label "Korean" I think you might find somethings.
