She sits beside me and chatters away while making all kinds of interesting creations:) She recently learned how to thread her own needle and she was almost as proud of herself as I was!

Hello! I recently discovered your blog. What a sweet little girl you have & she loves to sew, I love it!
I'll be traveling to China soon after summer to pick up my first daughter, after waiting many years. I love making dollies myself & I think I may use your free felt dollie tutorial to make them as gifts for the kids at the orphanage.
Goodness, the second image is breathtaking! Her sweet little hands threading the needle, her delicate mauve dress matching her lips exactly. . . beautiful work!
Charla Anne you've just inspired me to let my Sunny 'have a turn too' when I sew! She's very eager but I'm a little worried of her and a needle or the fact that I wouldn't have enough patience?! I'm not sure which one now! But the pictures of your beautiful Lily have made up my mind to let Sunny have a go and to be more patient... I suppose one day she'll grow up and not be so interested in what her mummy is doing... Let's hope not!
How do you go about teaching Lily about sewing? I would really love to know...
I'm loving the patterns you've done. May I make a request? I would LOVE a pattern for the little house purses you made for your girls a while back. They were adorable!
I'm falling in love by your family, your children are beautiful and what can I say about Lily, she is a little princess. Your page is great, and the pictures are amazing. My name is Claudia and I speak from Brazil. I'm grafic design, mother to two children that are my life. Congratulation for your blessed family. Regards. Claudia Marinho
I enjoyed reading your comments so much! Thank you <3
Marsi,
I am so excited for you! That is wonderful!
Sophie,
I haven't really taught her anything yet, but I will give her sewing lessons when she gets a little older. I just give her sewing supplies and let her do her own thing.
Four Little Munchkins,
I plan on adding more patterns to my shop:) I might make one for that too. Thanks for asking!

She's such a sweetheart! It won't be long and she'll soon be making some happy creations just like her mama! ;)
