You have such a beautiful blog! I literally read all the way back to your very first post in just two sittings. What a lovely way you capture the memories of your family! Just by perusing through your pictures it is so evident of the love you have for your family. You should know that I was greatly blessed by everything you shared on your blog. The pictures and thoughts you share made me step back and soak in the simple moments I have with my own three little children and be more purposeful in enjoying the day-to-day of their childhood.
I was especially captured by your precious Lily. What a doll! You have such a high calling with being a mother to her and your older three children.
I would love to hear your adoption story and what lead you to adopt several years after you had three biological children. My family has a similar story as my parents also adopted a little girl and also have three biological children. They adopted my little sister from China when she was eleven months old. I was sixteen at the time, my brother was thirteen, and my other sister was eleven. The addition of my little sister, Brielle,(who is now twelve) has been such a blessing to our family. Like your Lily, Brielle is truly a gift from the Lord and adds much spunk and joy to our days.
Thanks for the inspiration you share on your blog! You have blessed me more than you'll ever know.
P.S. You don't have to publish this comment. I just wanted you to know that I very much enjoy reading your blog and felt an instant connection to you through adoption.
Blessings to you...

She is absolutely adorable and reading your posts/pictures has encouraged me to stop and enjoy the little things with my daughter as well. I was curious about something though. Where do you find all of Lily's cute little dresses? My daughter loves wearing dresses but they can be hard to find. Thanks and enjoy the holidays!

Thank you for the sweet comments! I appreciate each and every one.
I love shopping for little girl clothes! I buy most of Lily's clothes at Target and thrift stores. Also, I am lucky because my sister has a little girl a few years older than Lily and we get the clothes she outgrows. The dress she has on in this post is from Mini Boden.
Thank you for making my day! I just sent you an email:)

You are an inspiration to me. I love how grateful you are for your children. Lily is so sweet. I love the things she is thankful for. How do you teach her to recognize her blessings? Also how do you teach your children to be so creative?

Thank you Ashley for your encouragement and kind words <3
Hmm, I’m not really sure. I do try to teach her to be thankful for the smallest of things. During the day I point out things we have to be thankful for and when I hear her whining or complaining I ask her to tell me something she is thankful for.
I love artsy kids! It makes me happy seeing my kids being creative! I always keep art supplies on hand for them to use. Lily has her own box full of supplies and she sits at her little table for the longest time coloring, cutting, and gluing things together:)
