It was filled with good days, hard days, and heartbreaking days.
We traveled a lot and made a lot of healthy changes.
My hubby and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary.
I started a lot of projects and actually finished a few;)
sewing Christmas gifts, decorating our living room, crocheting an afghan, and working on a new doll pattern for my etsy shop.
I went on a cruise with my sisters to celebrate Alisia's 40th birthday. We got to explore several different islands. It was an amazing experience! One of these days I’m going to go through the thousands of pictures we took and blog about it!
Matt graduated from high school and got a job as a teacher’s assistant at a Christian school. He went on two mission trips to Nicaragua where he got to help build houses. He loved it so much, he didn’t want to come home. He also got accepted to College of the Ozarks.
Brittany celebrated her 16th. Her dream is to turn 18, graduate, and become a cosmetologist.
Kayla finally got braces! She learned how to cook better, read a lot of books, and helped me so much with Lily.
Lily turned five. She learned how to spell her name, blow bubbles, make paper boats, braid hair, and count to 22.
I love the little family God blessed me with and I’m so grateful for each day we have together. When life gets crazy there is nowhere else I would rather be than right here with them.
Happy 2014, friends!
Oliver returned to our house on December 1st! Lily was overjoyed to see him again! Each morning he was hiding in a new place and Lily tried finding him as soon as she woke up. He was quite the little monkey this year! He brought a lot of fun surprises. Her favorites were the gingerbread house and the tea party.
My favorite people in their new Christmas pjs.
