I am so glad you are all safe and your sentimental items were saved. You are surely going through some trying times, but keep strong, for sure God is with you and will continue to bless you along the way.
You and your family are in my prayers.

You have been on my mind a lot lately since you wrote about the treatmeant and the camper. I thank the Lord that you were not in the house when it hit your home.
I'm so sorry about your loss but still so glad you all are alive. Praise to the Lord! God be with you in this special time. May he fill all your needs./

I cried seeing this post, and then reading all you wrote. My heart goes out to you for all you're going through. I'm happy to read of the special miracles and tender mercies you've had through this. You are a beautiful person and family. You truly are a beacon of light, hope, faith and strength.

I'm sure many people have suggestions for you regarding Galen's cancer and I know you've already been to Mexico, but I'm wondering if you've heard of Dr. Jose Antonio Calzada? He's doing some wonderful things and has helped so many in ways they weren't sure were possible. Please feel free to reach out to me if you want his contact info.
Most of all, I'm sending prayers for encouragement, hope, strength and more miracles for all you are bravely facing! 💕

Chris

So sorry to read this news. Is there a GoFundMe or other way we can send a donation to help with expenses? Perhaps a PayPal account?

Marla Miller

Dear Charla, after several weeks without going through here, I could not believe what I was seeing. I´m so sorry about your lost, but your family is a clear example that home is where family is. I'm glad you're safe.

I couldn't believe it when I saw the pictures, I thought surely you were joking about the tornado. So glad that everyone is safe and that all that is precious to you were not destroyed. I can't imagine everything you must be feeling right now, with treatments and now the home, I'm wishing you better days to come.

Charla, dear,

Your trust in The One Who Alone is trustworthy is vivid, rich and a powerful testimony in my eyes. Our prayers are for you, with you, alongside you and undergirding you. May the God of the valley be your God of the mountain, and the God of the day be the God of the night.

In my moments of fear
Through every pain, every tear
There’s a God Who’s been faithful to me...

He’s been faithful, faithful to me...

*hugs*, love and prayers for you, dear ones.
Kelley~

Dear Charla and Family,
Oh the mysteries of God! Who can understand why things come our way in this life. You are such an example of faith and trust in our all-knowing Heavenly Father.
When I read your post this morning, I was reminded of this great old Hymn, It Is Well With My Soul.
When peace like a river attendeth my way
When sorrow like sea billows roll
Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say
It is well, It is well, with my soul

Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come
Let this blest assurance control
That Christ has regarded my helpless estate
And hath shed his own blood for my soul.

Charla please remember I, and many others are holding you up in prayer.
May God continually strengthen you and give you peace.

If there is any of your earthly treasures I can help you replace, will you just say. I’ll be happy to try and. Help.

Sherri

Sending lots of love from London, England xoxo

How shocking to have this happen. It is unbelievable but hey, that wreath stayed on the front door even after a tornado destroyed the house! Crazy right? I am so glad that your daughter went to her uncle's house and that was such a blessing to read God's care for you all through that detail. Seeing Lily's dollhouse perched precariously in the debris really hit home to me how transient are the things of this world. I will be praying that the insurance company will go above and beyond for you and that at the end of all this, you will feel restored and renewed. I know this a hard thing after a hard thing after a hard thing for your family. Praying for strength and joy throughout this journey for all of you!

Kris

May God continue to give you all strength and peace through all of these very difficult times! I love that all of those special items were found. Praying for you always! ❤️

Anne Elisabeth

I keep on saying, you are so strong and truly THROUGH CHRIST! I can't believe this happened to all of you. So hard to go through this on top of everything that has been going on. But WOW what a testimony of God's faithfulness. Your words are so pure, so bright they shine all the way in my office room in Sweden, where I read your blogposts again and again. The greatest blessing of all is that you have each other! And that your children are following the Lord. They have been watching how you and Galin respond to trials and tribulations. I will pray for all of you to not lose hope but to keep on going strong. Blessings!

Eileen

Dear sis-in-Christ, I am shocked to see your most recent stories. I have been tuning in on and off, in the past, mainly to check on your craft. Now after hearing about your latest trials, I have been checking in more often. You have been thought of often in my heart. The Lord's way is high, most of the time, we cannot undersatnd. But I love your attitude in all these, I shall praise the Lord for as long as I shall live. Amen sister, let's praise the Lord be it shines or rains.

Dear Charla and family,

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your home but it is wonderful to see what a beautiful example you and your family are as believers in our Lord. His ways are certainly higher than our ways, and Romans 8:28 comes to mind as well. Loved to hear about the dry and good condition of the bibles, the prayer journal and the chalk board. God is awesome! Sending you all a big hug and will be praying for Galin and your whole family.

xo,
Marian

I am so sorry to see these terrible photos of your home. it is wonderful that no one was in the house at the time. Thinking of you. x

Prachi

Its nerve wrecking to see so much of damage.. but your smiling family photo in front of all the wreckage is like shining sun amidst black clouds! Love and prayers from India!

Natalia

I pray for your family. And I admire your inner strength and love for God. Where did you learn to take pictures? I would take some paid lessons on photography from you. Is it possible to do this?

Rita Vulgamore

Dear Charla, I am so sorry that I am so long in checking your blog. I had messaged your Mom and kept up with you all for a while when you first lost your home, but have been negligent in contacting you! I am so thankful for how our Heavenly Father watched out for all of you! And He cared so much, he protected the "little" things that meant so much to you as a Mom & wife! God really cares for us Continued prayers for your beautiful family as you face many changes in the next weeks! You are a blessing and encouragement to me! Love you all! Praying Galin's treatments are going good!

Arezoo

I can't say my feelings in words. You are such a brave and powerful woman. My heart is with you and I pray for you all.

Carrie McKillion

My heart so terribly aches - but incredibly at the same time is so full because of your testimony of faith ♥ thank you ♥

Irma Soto

Sending lots of love from Mallorca, Spain. I pray for your family. Please tell us how We can help you. Kisses.

Hi Charla,
I have followed your journey for many years, since you released your elf pattern actually. You have always amazed me with the beautiful things you do for your family. I was devestated to learn of Galin's illness and I am horrified that admist dealing with that, you have lost your much loved home. We saw images of that tornado on the news and as we dont have tornadoes in Australia, it seemed unreal. I am sorry it was very much real. My family is thinking of yours and sending love and strength. Dear Charla,
If you can, would you give and update as to how y’all are doing. I am in prayer for you and the family. Let us know how we can help. I saw that your son had set up a Go Fund Me account. Much love and concern

Charla

Hello dear friends,
What a gift it is to know we aren’t walking through this alone. Galin and I feel so loved. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for each prayer and kind word. It means more than words can say. Much love to each of you.

If you asked a question, I will be emailing you soon!
